I made this wine bottle labeler out of scrap wood I had laying around.
The board with the bent over nails is a 1x6 I was too lazy to get the right size nails.
The rest of the boards are 2x4 and 2x6's.

Just place the bottle in the slot bottom touching the endboard. (Sorry it's blurry)

Set the label upside down and in the proper position even with the edge of the board.

Push the label toward and into the bottle, and it'll start to roll right up on the bottle.

Then just wrap the rest of the label around the bottle. Done!

16 Cases of wine took about an hour.

They all go on nice and straight!

It's ugly, and if I spent more than three minutes building it, it could look nice. But I wasn't out for 'nice' I was out for functional. It works rather well too!
