Hello
I have been using a matt finish ultra thin self adhesive printer paper in 8.5" x 11". This paper I can print on or drawn on. It will go through the printer very easily. When my design is on the paper, I cut out the design then stick it to a finished wood surface. Which then is carved with high speed drills. The paper is like ultra thin contact paper with a peelable back. You can see through the paper making it ideal to trace designs onto the paper. The only writing on the paper is "Image other side" then has dots on one side of the paper. There is also a strip on the no adhesive side to make removing the backing easier.

Can someone help me find this type of paper or at least tell me what for sure the paper is called. I have called it Mylar paper. But I don't find it when I am searching the internet for it. I was also told this type of paper has been discontinued. If someone has any ideas as to what kind of paper this is or where I can find something very close to this, please email me at deblindsay@yahoo.com. Thank you very much for all your help.

We do not have anything specifically intended for this purpose. I would direct you to supplier, but I am not sure who sells this type of product. I did some quick searching on the web using a variety of search terms, but didn't come across anything.

We have some clear matte inkjet printable labels (full sheet label) that may work (OL175CJ). We also have a removable white matte product (OL175WR). You can check out each of these items at the links below.

I am happy to send you a few sample sheets for testing if you would like to fill out our sample request form at the link below.
