Andrea,
Our development team has built the text outline functionality and it is currently being tested on our end prior to release on our website. I don't have a timeline yet, but I suspect it could be within the next 2-4 weeks.
I will update this post as soon as I have a definitive date.

I just received word from our Maestro Label Designer development team that the Outlined Text feature has been released and is available in the live version of Maestro Label Designer. You can check it out if you log in to Maestro Label Designer. http://www.onlinelabels.com/maestro I have attached a screen shot where you can see the feature in action. Thanks. Dave C.
