Can you provide some additional details on your project? How long do the labels need to stay in place? Are the shoe dots going inside of the shoe?

If you are looking for something that needs to permanently stay in place under a person's foot, I don't think that our product is going to be a good option. The top coating on our waterproof labels would wear off causing the print to degrade.

There are companies that pre-print labels for this specific purposes. The adhesives are especially made to perform on these fabric surfaces.

In regards to labels for shirts - our product is not going to stay adhered through a wash cycle. It would work as a name tag for an event, but it could be removed and it definitely would not last in a washing machine. You would need to look at sew-in labels or something that is ironed on. There are also companies that pre-print these labels for this specific purpose and they use special printers and special fabric adhesives for longer term adhesion (companies like http://www.mabelslabels.com).

I am happy to send you some samples of our waterproof inkjet labels for testing, but I am not confident that it will work for your purposes if you are looking to permanently label items such as apparel or shoes.

In regards to the labels for the inside of the shoes - I would recommend our OL6000WJ (1.2" circle on our weatherproof inkjet material) if you want to test something. As I mentioned before, I am not sure if this will work but if you add an overcoat spray after printing you may be able to get it to be durable enough to last for a period of time. After printing onto the labels with your printer, you would need to spray over them to add the extra layer of durability. Krylon offers a variety of overcoat sprays (can be purchased at most art/craft stores) that may work. We had a customer who did quite a bit of testing with the Krylon sprays. Our products like the OL177WJ have a top coating that ink from an inkjet printer encapsulates into when you print on to the sheet. This top coating holds up well under normal conditions. When there is a lot handling or heavy abrasion it can definitely start to wear off the top coating. In the case of a cup that is going to get washed over and over again there is a chance that the top coating may start to degrade effectively removing the ink with it. I really depends on the abrasiveness of the washing method that the person uses when cleaning the bottles.

I didn't realize that you were in Pakistan. That obviously complicates things. I'm not sure what type of sealing / overcoat products are widely available there. I would highly recommend that you do a lot of testing before you move forward with selling a product to your customers.

I am not sure what kind of gear you are talking about. Can you provide some additional details? Is this clothing? Are you considering a sewn in fabric tag on the gear or are you talking about a card stock tag that is attached to the gear?

Due to the fibrous texture of clothing, these are best for short-term, single use. We'd recommend trying samples of our Aggressive White Matte (AT) since this material offers a very strong adhesive.

For the shoe dots, it looks like these are to label the inside soles of shoes. If this is just for temporary use to show the shoe size or price, we'd recommend testing the aggressive material above as well as our weatherproof material options.
