Hi there,
I got this printer last year. It was supposed to be good for saving on ink...
The issue is, when I put any sheet of gloss label stock into it, it jams. Like every time. And I have to take the printer apart and pull the labels out. It ruins the sheet. :(
I am trying to print labels for my candles, but I can't even get one to print.
Windows 11 Build 26100.6584
Any ideas or what to try would be hugely appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing feeding issues with your printer. Often, adjusting the paper type setting can help resolve these problems. I recommend checking if your printer model has a specific setting for glossy paper.
If you’ve already done that, consider testing with the regular paper tray and also the manual feed tray, though keep in mind that the manual feed typically accommodates only a few sheets at a time.
Additionally, most printer manufacturers suggest cleaning the pick-up rollers to help prevent feeding issues.
To assist you further, could you please confirm the model of your Brother printer? It appears that LC406 refers to Brother's ink cartridge product line.

So, I have tried feeding one at a time, tried putting 2 sheets in, which worked briefly on my old machine. Then that machine crashed. On my Windows 11 machine, it has never worked on any kind of glossy stock. I did change the paper type, but labels aren't in the list. Only photo stock. I chose that - same issue. I can't afford to just throw away labels. I've gone through 1 sheet for each and every attempt with not one usable label. Just wasting paper. :(

Thank you for following up. Can you confirm the printer model you're currently using and whether you've updated your Windows 11 printer driver for this model? The printer's ability to feed the label sheets isn't usually related to the PC's operating system. However, the available settings might be affected if the driver is outdated. Once we resolve this, I'll be happy to replace any unusable sheets caused by testing.
