Does anyone have information related to the UV resistance of label OL145WJ, the weatherproof label? Thanks. Any recommendations for a UV resistant label?

The OL145WJ is made from a poly material so the material itself holds up well in outdoor conditions and UV light. The bigger concern is your inks fading once you have printed onto the labels. In sunlight, inks from a standard inkjet printer can fade very quickly especially the brighter colors.

Some of our customers will do an overcoat spray on to the labels after printing onto them. They typically use the Krylon brand sprays that can be purchased at most art / craft stores (e.g. Michael's, Jo Ann Fabrics, etc.). You can see one of the sprays at the link below.

Even after spraying, the inks will definitely continue to fade when exposed to sunlight but at a slower rate.

We can send you a few sample sheets of the OL145WJ for testing if you would like to fill out our sample request form at the link below.

Thanks.
