My weatherproof inject labels are smudging and they look weird.The fonts are looking blurry and smudgy, how come?
I don't have that with any other labels.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue that you've experienced and I'll be happy to offer any assistance that I can. Our weatherproof inkjet materials behave differently than our paper-based materials - they incorporate a special topcoat that absorbs ink and protects it from moisture. If the weatherproof topcoat becomes over-saturated with ink it can cause the print to look blurry and possibly smudge in contact with moisture. The best way to resolve this issue is to reduce the print quality setting in your printer options from best to normal, or possibly even from normal to draft. Doing this should output less ink and provide a cleaner, more durable print. If your printer has an option for DPI (dots per inch) then reducing that setting should have the same effect.

I hope this information helps. If you need any additional details please just let me know! Josh, What sort of label would you suggest for non-smudging, moisture resistant, full color labels? I require photo quality labels and reducing to draft really doesn't cut it. It still smudges in Draft settings, although not quite as much, but the quality of the image is awful. I am currently using OL1809WI and am very unhappy with the results.

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues that you've experienced. We only carry one other moisture resistant material for inkjet printers - our Weatherproof Matte Inkjet. This material does not have a glossy finish but is still capable of high-quality color printing. The matte topcoat is quite different than the gloss topcoat used on the Weatherproof Gloss Inkjet, so you may find that your printer performs differently when using this material. I'll have samples of the Weatherproof Matte Inkjet material mailed out for you this afternoon.
One other option to consider is our Weatherproof Polyester Laser material. If you have access to a color laser printer this material is capable of high-quality color printing, while also providing more durability than either of our weatherproof inkjet materials. I've included a few sample sheets in the package that will be sent out this afternoon.

I had the same problem and it ended up being print cartridges. I hope you were able to use them, I love the weatherproof labels!

If you wouldn't mind sharing the details, we'd love to have that information on hand in case similar issues arise in the future. Which printer model were using? What did you change in regards to the print cartridges to resolve the issue? Thank you for any information you can provide!
