I am trying to print gold foil letters on clear labels. Do I need to buy gold ink? or is there some other way?
see example here http://tinypic.com/r/29ejbz8/9

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to achieve true gold foil printing with a standard inkjet or laser printer. The link below includes color hex values that you can use within Maestro Label Designer to approximate a gold color as closely as possible, but these colors will not have the reflective or metallic look that a true foil finish would have.

http://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/Gold_Color.htm

To use a color hex code within Maestro Label Designer first add your desired text to the template. Then select the "Font Color" option that is displayed in the panel to the left. Directly below the color palette you'll see an entry field where you can enter a 6 digit code. Copy and paste the desired color code into that field and press Enter to chance your text color.

I hope this helps. If you need any additional information please let me know.
