I am using the weatherproof glossy labels for inkjet and they look great. Problem is, I am able to scratch the ink off. It was recommended to print for glossy photo paper, but it defaults to 4x6 and then won't allow me to print the labels because the paper is 8.5x11. Any suggestions on how I can change this?

It sounds like you may be selecting one of Canon's commonly used settings, which basically acts as a profile and adjusts a number of different settings for the intended application. For instance, selecting "Photo Printing" from the commonly used settings section will adjust the media type to a photo option, but will also enable borderless printing and change the paper size to 4" x 6".

If you continue looking through the print driver options, you should see an area that lets you control each of these settings independently. From the media type dropdown, select the "Glossy Photo Paper" option, but leave the printer paper size at 8.5" x 11". This will allow you to use the photo paper settings without forcing you to use the 4" x 6" paper size.

I hope this helps. If you need any additional information please just let us know.
