Hey Team - I have recently started using online labels for my candles. The color is good. I use both the matte and the gloss finish. The problem is the bubbling. I've tried everything. No matter what I do, the labels bubble up. And the few that I finally got a good, clean application - I noticed they are now bubbling up as they sit in my temperature controlled inventory room. I don't know what to do at this point. I will say, where they adhere, they stick well because getting them off is a lengthy process.
I am at a complete loss. I can't send out candles with bubbled up labels and I can't apply, and reply each one with the hopes that the label stays good long enough for the customer to get their candle. Super frustrated!!!

It sounds like you’ve put a lot of care into your product and presentation, and I completely understand how discouraging it can be when the labels aren’t cooperating. Bubbling can happen occasionally, especially with certain surfaces or environmental conditions. However, the following steps can help ensure a clean and durable application: - Clean your hands and the application surface thoroughly. Any debris, dust, moisture, or natural oils can interfere with the adhesive and weaken the bond. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean the container before labeling.
- Apply the center of the label first, then smooth outward toward the edges. This technique helps reduce tension at the ends of the label, minimizing the risk of bubbles or lifting.
- Use firm, even pressure during application. Our labels are pressure-sensitive, so applying more pressure enhances the adhesive and creates a stronger, longer-lasting bond.
- If your design includes an overlap with full coverage printing, leave the bottom side of the overlap unprinted. Ink and toner can act as a barrier, preventing the adhesive from bonding effectively.
It seems your labels are adhering well in some areas, which is a good sign that the adhesive is functioning properly. If bubbling continues despite following these steps, it could be due to the container's surface or shape. If you’d like, I’d be happy to help troubleshoot further.
