Hello! I made my first purchase of a sheet of labels (Weatherproof Polyester for Laser) that was printed by OnlineLabels and sent to me. These were used to label bottles that contain bath/shower products I travel with. I used them on HDPE (Type 2) Plastic bottles - a very typical/standard bottle material. I prepped, rubbed alcohol on the bottles, and applied as directed. However within 2 showers, the labels lost their tack and peeled completely off. I reached out to customer service, even sending a video, but they were extremely unhelpful to say the least and there was never any resolution to the issue. Despite the very negative experience, I’m hoping to give it another try. I just wanted to get a definitive response as to what kind of label paper/specs I should be using. One that will *not* budge on any contact with water. Again, these will be used in the bath/shower (so a very moist/humid environment) and will be regularly under a stream of water. Thank you

Thank you so much for sharing your experience — I'm really sorry to hear that your labels didn’t hold up as expected. After checking into it, the material you received is about two years old, and our Weatherproof Polyester for Laser typically has a shelf life of 1–3 years, depending on how it’s stored. After the first year, the adhesive can start to break down and lose tack.
We’d love to help you give this another try! Please reach back out to our team, and we’ll be happy to send you samples of fresh material to test. Newer stock should perform much better and maintain adhesion even with repeated exposure to moisture.
