Our weatherproof matte labels for inkjet printing have a relatively strong adhesive. Can you provide some more details in regards to the adhesive not performing? What exactly is happening? Are the labels popping off? How long before they start to pop-off? Is the label wrapping all the way around the bottle back onto itself?

Small diameter bottles can sometimes be challenging to label. The method that you use to apply the label can have an impact on how the label performs. Here is an article on how to apply labels to lip balm tubes. I know you are labeling e-liquid bottles, but some of these tips in the article below may work for you since the issues are similar.

I don't necessarily think the clear labels will perform any better if you are having issues with the weatherproof matte inkjet labels. Our strongest adhesive is found on our Aggressive White Matte labels product. Neither the clear labels (product code OL248CJ - clear matte for inkjet, product code OL248CK - clear gloss for inkjet) nor the aggressive white matte labels (product code OL248AT) are intended to be weatherproof / waterproof though. If you test the labels and find the adhesive on these products works better on your bottles then you could consider printing onto the labels and then spraying them with an overcoat spray to make them waterproof. You can read an article on the topic at the link below.

Sounds good. Does the label overlap back on to itself? I recommend not printing in the area where you are overlapping back onto itself.

The aggressive white matte stock is a paper based material so it isn't intended to be waterproof. Are you using a laser printer or an inkjet printer? If you are using a laser printer then I would recommend our weatherproof polyester laser material (OL2279LP). If you are using an inkjet printer then I would recommend our Weatherproof Matte Inkjet material (OL2279WJ)
