No options when clicking Object Properties

I want to change the color of an item I've added to my label. It sounds like it should be simple, but when I click Object Properties the only option I have is opacity. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I apologize for any confusion related to changing colors of objects within Maestro Label Designer. You'll be able to change the color of any shape or text that is created within Maestro Label Designer. Unfortunately, you will not be able to change the color of any image that is created outside of Maestro and uploaded for use within the program. The color of any uploaded image will be locked as soon as it's imported into the program.
