I have been trying to do a multi label with the pre design template "Calligraphy Spice Labels". I have tried copying and pasting into the next label. However the only item that is pasted is the text and nothing else. How do I retain the template to other labels but still be able to edit the text on each label?

Unfortunately, the functionality to copy and paste design elements found in pre-designed templates doesn't exist within Maestro Label Designer currently. To print a sheet of labels with the same design format but differing text on each label, you'll need to start with a blank template and design the label from scratch at this point in time.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I've passed your feedback along to the software developer in hopes of implementing this functionality in a future update to the program.
