I am looking for a new Laser Printer and was wondering if you have tested or had any recommendations on the HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP 3301fdw Printer. I have a Brother currently but see that HP is highly recommended.

We have not yet tested this specific model or received any customer feedback about it. However, we have successfully tested many HP Color LaserJet Pro models with our laser-compatible materials. According to HP's website, this model supports the media types listed below, which means you should be able to print on our paper and film materials, including Weatherproof Polyester Laser (LP).

Paper (bond, brochure, colored, glossy, heavy, letterhead, light, plain, preprinted, prepunched, recycled, rough), transparencies, labels, envelopes, cardstock

Here are some models we have previously tested with our laser materials. Most color printers available today can deliver professional-looking results when paired with high-resolution artwork.

- HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251
- HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M451
- HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw
- HP Color LaserJet Pro M452dn

I have the HP colour laser jet pro M255dw latest version. I had the previous version and when that started to print pink dots everywhere I got the latest version.. it does the same.. not sure what I'm doing wrong (if anything) even the print options 'labels' doesn't work and I only use the weatherproof white and clear labels from here.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing. According to the manual for the HP M255dw, adjusting the paper type should help resolve this print quality problem. Your printer has several paper-type options aside from Labels that may work better, such as Transparency. Transparencies are film materials and can be comparable to Weatherproof Polyester Laser stock.

I recommend cleaning the rollers in your printer to remove any debris or foreign substances. After that, try running a couple of test prints using the Transparency setting. If that doesn’t fully resolve the issue, you could also experiment with Heavy (111–130g) and Extra Heavy (131–175g) paper options.
