I know there are sine water PROOF labels on sale, but I don’t think that’s necessary. What I’m labeling won’t be submerged. But it’s possible the containers might get some indirect wetness briefly. Is it necessary to buy waterproof labels or are there any other materials that resist potential smudging?

Courtney - Thank you for reaching out to us! I see that you purchased our Clear Gloss Laser (CL) labels. This material is weatherproof, making it highly durable and water-resistant.
We also offer other laser-compatible materials that are not weatherproof, such as paper-based options. These are not recommended for use in any situations where they may be exposed to moisture. However, if you are using the labels for regular, dry applications, the print shouldn't smear or smudge.
To prevent smudging and ensure that the toner is properly fused, adjust your printer's paper type setting to either Labels, Cardstock, or Transparency.
If you have any further questions, just let me know!
