To give some brief information, I'm using the standard matt white sticker paper (EU30165WX) and printing with a new Epson ET-8550 inkjet printer.
I'm new to printing, so pleaase forgive me if I don't explain things well.
I've gone through over 100 sheets(!) at this point (and also replaced the printer as well, due to an issue with one of the inks in the previous one) - but I'm still plagued by these noticable specks.
https://imgur.com/a/qUz78NoIn person, it looks like it's either not been inked in or almost a kind of glaze effect - if I tilt the paper about as I'm inspecting it, I see these flecks even more, and in more areas. Almost reminds me of putting down a thin layer of white pencil or wax - but in spots - before colouring in something. I can't make out any consistent patterns with this.
I've already done printhead cleaning and alignments (with the use of a loupe to be sure), turned off bidirectional printing, tried different print settings and dusted off the inside of the printer to the best of my ability (though there was basically nothing there).
I don't know what else to do except try printing on different media, but I really want to get this paper and printer combo to work. Did I just get a bad batch, or am I doing something wrong or missed something?
