Maestro Label Designer doesn't have built-in support for a shadow effect. That being said it is a very easy effect to create using the tools in Maestro Label Designer.

To create a shadow effect, just do the following steps:

1. Create the text you want to shadow
2. Select the text box and then hit the Copy button
3. Hit the Paste button to create a copy of the selected text box
4. Select the new text box (that looks exactly the same as the old text box and slightly off-set the text of the new text box against the old text box.
4. Change the color of the text in the new text box to a lighter color (probably gray to create shadow look)
5. Select the new text box and hit the Arrange tool to move that text box behind the original text box.

That should create the shadow effect. I have attached an image of a shadow effect I created using the steps above.

Thanks. I hope this is helpful.
